Ratings are falling, but the show is still the #1 scripted sitcom on cable. But yea, don't know how it would go on without Tia Mowery, and with Pooch Hall and Colby Bell only guest starring. That's 4 of the main cast gone, including Brittany Murphy. That just leave...Tasha, Malik and...Tee Tee? They would have to spin it off at that point into "The Wright Family" or some shit.

Napoleon Dynamite Cancelled

Who will vote for Pedro?

by Eric Goldman MAY 15, 2012

Napoleon Dynamite is no more. Until FOX announced their 2012-2012 schedule yesterday, there were two shows left we were a bit uncertain about - Napoleon and Bob's Burgers. However, while Bob's Burgers is now set for the next season (not shocking, given they actually will still have thirteen unaired episodes from their full Season 2 order), Napoleon Dynamite was left off the schedule - and thus cancelled.

Networks rarely "announce" cancellations, but word gets out as the cast and crews are informed they won't be returning. It's a bit different in animation, as the schedules are not as consistent - actors don't have to be back "on set" in July. We knew back in January that Allen Gregory was cancelled, but the fate of Napoleon Dynamite was still up in the air until FOX released their schedule.

Based on the movie of the same name, Napoleon Dynamite aired its six-episode first season this spring, reuniting the creators and almost the entire cast of the film.

Bob's Burgers is funny.
