album is overrated because of the artists who made it, its an average album to me, they probably should have let frank ocean do more hooks, cuz their hook game wack as fuck, and some of the songs sound like mixtape tracks, btw does anyone know what songs kid cudi is on on this album?

I DJ and work a lot in studios so it's important to me to know were the sounds come form or what genre/artist inspired the sound.

When you have 5 Euro/Dub/Electro-Techno samples on a HipHop album plus Mr Hudson it's going to give the album a certain vibe.

Most HipHop samples heavily from Jazz, R&B, Soul, & Funk and to a lesser degree POP, very-very few HipHop albums if any will have 4 songs sampled from the same Euro-genre.

Many people get very sensitive when you name the samples but the DJs and crate-diggers like ripDilla appreciate the information.

Respect ur opinion i think that Ocean, Drake only sound right on that ambien type of music. There was no emotion though in his performance on the album he s prolly one of the things i wish they d gotten rid off
