Am I the only one that doesn't like Hov wrestling with the beat? I don't know what he's trying to do, or accomplish, but the whole off-kilter thing just sounds awkward to me. It's as if he doesn't know exactly where he's trying to be.

I think that's my problem. I was expecting some MBDTF type shit. But honestly, almost all the verses on the joint sound interchangeable. I don't like that.

it'd been better if it was a knaye solo project
the chemistry between jay and kanye sucks
like if u compare it to how jay and big use to play off one another that shit worked like magic
it boils down to kanye and jay being two totally different rappers and artists
jay didnt come on lyrical form, his flow was choppy on some songs, at points he was trying to flow like kanye and rick ross, which didnt work
it seems like kanye did all the work and jay just gave him a few verses,
the autotune shit also fucked a few songs up, sounding like they were trying to swag jack diddys dirty money vibe
beyonce was not needed on the album

He does it on Otis too. He's been doing it since BP3 I first heard it on DOA. It sounded good on DOA though. Now it just sounds awkward.

jay really wasnt needed, like if kanye had replaced all of jays verses with his own, the project wud have sounded way better, it'd been a great album
jay just didnt seem like he was there mentally, seems like he treated it like a mixtape, rather than a album thats dear to his heart
the production was good at some points great, cud have done without the autotune and the beyonce feature, i guess she was trying to get her RI RI on
