I agree that musically it is on some Kanye shit but so what Jay had very good verses on here and I mean that is the point of making an album with Kanye is to get his sound he hot right now, what other artist wouldn't do a album with Kanye. I aint a Jay Stan and I ain't listened to BP 3 in a min and probably never will but Jay still got good verses to add to this album people hating a little too much. Bottom line off first listen this album is a classic about 4 out of 5 but that is first listen.

And this is what I've been telling people. Jay Z never wanted to do a full LP but just an EP, KanYe was the one that needed this more, after the Taylor Swift Drama. Jay wanted it to be a Bonus EP on MBDTF. KanYe convinced him otherwise. This is more like the 2nd LP from MBDTF than anything. Jay is spitting but he's letting Ye get all the shine.

After first listen I give this album a 6.5/10. I'll give it a good amount of spins in the whip to fully judge. But I can already tell this would have been way better if it was just a Kanye album, even after that it could have been more consistent.
