You niggas complain too damn much, if they music is good cop it and if it's not don't. Nothing more needs to be said, and i don't know why ya'll are comparing people like Big Sean, J COle,etc to them. Obviously the demand for a Kanye/Jay album is stronger, plus those other dudes need to put in the work like Kanye and Jay did to get to that point in their careers.

Everyone wants the success but no one want to pay the dues! All them Roc Nation and Good Music niggas have better set ups than Kanye and Jay did in the start of their careers

It's not leaking

It drops tommorow night at midnight

I wasnt coppin the album regardless unless its impeccable to me

It aint leak cuz they droppin it digitally

Doin that eliminates pressed cd's for someone to leak

They gonna ship starting tomorrow night right before the digital release

Brilliant strategy

Definately brilliant, both of these artists get leaked every album, nice to see people actually having to wait for release dates like back in the day. LOL at yall niggas salty as fuck that the album didnt leak, it makes no difference, im still coppin leaked or not, maybe this will set the precedent for future albums. No other genre gets leaked like hip hop does, and no other genre is suffering from sales slumps quite as bad as we are. You broke Ns get enough free music as it is, support hip hop, if you havent noticed we havent had too many actual album releases this year, there's a reason why...

so because they managed to STOP niggas from bootlegging their album and trying to actually inject some more money into hip-hop, niggas won't support them? and they're somehow WRONG for not letting the album leak? some of ya'll really have brain damaged yourselves

Fake fans are killing hip hop, these dudes dont have the brain capacity to conceptualize. They spout off at the mouth saying anything without bothering to rationalize shit.

I applaud Ye and Jay for keeping this from leaking as long as they have, hope Ross can do the same for for God Forgives. I'm still skeptical about how this is gonna sound though.

You know the music business is fucked up when niggas feel entitled to a leak.

LOL it is

The mainstream as it were related to hiphop is fucking dead

I can't even name artistes apart from KanYe West who I can vouch for anymore to come up with quality

I don't get this logic, 1st what Jay and Ye are doing is different cause they are releasing it digitally 1st. Than to retail. Do you realize how upset retailers are about that?. Jay even admitted he got a lot of heat from different retailers all around the country cause of that decision, his own label even wasn't too happy about it. But they did not want this to leak and for that I commend them. As for it not happening for their artist, again not many artist if any release LP's digitally 1st. Maybe going forward obviously everyone will follow suit cause when in the digital age has an album not leaked at least 2 weeks in.

To me what Jay and Ye did was phenomenal and will change the game. Yes it does hurt retailers but it helps the artist recoup more sales that they lose from downloading. I think people tend to forget that leaking = Stealing. You are not suspose to get music for free but since the Napster age this new generation feels entitled. I remember the days of going to cop CD's the day an album drops, opening the package and listening to it fresh for the 1st time. Don't know when the last time I did that. I think the album will do very well off the strenth of their names.

Tommy is right even though "Otis" is the offical single it's already #12 on the pop charts and the song doesn't have video and dropped about 2 weeks ago. The album will be released with no Video either, this is how Big Jay and Ye are. What's funny is Jay didn't even want to make a full lenth LP, he wanted it to be an EP as a bouns disc on Kanye's album. Ye convinced Jay that would be a waste and that if they were going to do a full album they should go all out. I'm glad KanYe convinced Jay. I think it does about 400-450k Opening week, no lower than 350k. In my view it's clearly the most anticpated rap album of the year. Yes, Wayne, Drake, NaS and J. Cole will all have buzz for their albums but Jay and Ye just stole so much thunder with this. What's amazing is this must be the weakest promoted album of either of their careers. As far as buying the album, hey obviously Jay and Ye don't need the sales but supporting good music only helps Hip Hop grow. Also the T/S said he won't cop if it doesn't leak, well as soon as it hits digital it will leak online so technically it's still leaking before it hit retail, it's just Jay and Ye were smart cause they will recoup more cause it didn't leak.

Went over your head.

Its unfair that their album is the only one that doesnt leak. Their artists and other quality artists had to suffer from leaks.

Dude, what are you talking the fuck about?

Jay-z album has been leaking since Volume 3 from memory serves me right, he even stabbed someone over it. lol Same shit for Ye, College Dropout leaked!

Just because THEY FINALLY figured out someway to prevent some leak, doesn't mean they won't do the same for their artist. You act like The Blueprint 3 didn't leak 3 weeks early and MBTDF didn't spring a leak 2 weaks prior. What exactly are you complaing about?

All you can do is compare the albums coming out from their camp (J COle, Jay E, Pusha, Cyhi, etc) after how WTT was handled. Other than that, you have no point dude!

the no leaking shit really not that impressive if they giving it to itunes first. and far from groundbreaking. lil b did the same shit with his album. it works for these two because they're popular enough and have the resources. let j cole release his album only on itunes for damn near the first week and watch that shit brick HARD.

Big Sean......

But ok. We'll see. Once others leak early from their camp, I'm gonna say "I told you so.".

Dude, Big Sean album came ot 4 plus weeks ago. Don't you think if Jay-z/Kanye camp had some prior knowledge they would of prevent Beyonce's album from leaking a month early? Use some common sense dude.

My point is they only give a fuck about themselves. Beyonce released on Columbia. But ok.

Watch the throne is being handled by Def Jam and Columbia, Roc Nation is distributed by Columbia records.

2011 is almost over nigga...when did those albums release?

If they last albums leaked that would mean this is an experimental tactic. You act like these niggas been making sure they shit good and no one elses. Fact is you cant judge them until you see howfuture GOOD music releases and Rocnation releases are being handled.
