I'm not real big on these hip-hop collabo albums so my brain is telling me not to expect a lot but come on. It's ye'& jay, anything other than really good would be a dissapointment. It's just like that h.a.m song, that would've been a decent single for you're average rapper but that shit was wack to me because jay and ye' both came weak

If its anything like H.A.M that im not expecting much but if Jay takes the best bits of BP3 and Ye has more beats like 'Runaway(toast)' then it should be decent.

but to be honest Ye never spit anything to pay attention too, so he better be on par with production and hooks and Jay as expected will carry the album.

no worse than BP3 and it should be cool.

A nas and kanye album would have been more interesting but that's another topic.....this album should be album of the year, if it is not close to classic material, its going to get shitted on.

I dunno what to expect... I think we'll get a lot of outside production (maybe Ye will co-produce though) but I'm looking forward to it. Considering the songs these two have crafted together over the years we could have a solid body of work but at the same time it could be a let down. I'm just looking at it with an open ear, not too sure what to expect and hope we get a record these two have the potential of working on together

I have none and that's because with Kanye you always get the unexpected. With H.A.M. it was like that but they were suckered into the shit these wack ass trappers love using as slang! but we'll see when it drops.

P.S.

I don't see Watch The Throne froppin on the 4 of july

It's Jay and Ye' statistically it should be classic.

if it were 2005 i would agree.

but i dont think this album is gonna be anything special. maybe 1 or 2 songs that knock and the rest are gonna be in the same category as 'ham'.---crap.

No idea.

If they can get one track near "Never Let Me Down" level then it'll be worth it. Ham was wack though.

That hilarious tracklist wasn't real right?

on paper this seems like a classic. Kanye doesn't have that feel good, real soulfull beats anymore like he use too. I feel like he chops up the samples too much and just samples some weird fast drum pattern, with those same sound snares he uses. but who knows i could be wrong. I wanna say he produced less than half of the album, and the rest are outside producers that he helped co-produce.

Man you guys are being mad irrational. Now H.A.M. is whack?? Jay killed that shit. You're a fool if you really feel Jay fell off and used that as an example. As for Kanye, well he isn't in the same league as Jay in the first place so I wasn't expecting much.

I was say it's definite that Kanye won't produce any of the tracks by himself. He hasn't been the main producer on any songs since College Dropout.

'Cuz we didn't get Run this Town, The Joy, Power Remix, So Appalled, Monster, etc? Or do you really have selective hearing?

If they are throwing away tracks like The Joy, then i have high expectations. I just want good music, i could care less about classics.
