Everyone should know when he said that he meant when he was running the streets dealing with no morals, doing whatever to get paid...but the Angie Martinez interview when he said he don't believe in Hell or Satan...how are you gonna believe in God when you don't know or believe his enemy? I mean it's obvious he's not into the CHRISTIAN belief, but it's something else because Jay doesn't believe in religion, which he's partially right..you shouldn't believe in religion.

Many will possibly look into it as trying to cancel out the negative (Hell and the devil) and uplifting the positive( God)..but in that interview he was still trying to put some aura of mysticism into it to keep people guessing.

Unfortunately..yes because I guess when Hip Hop songs about poverty and struggle was playing back then was depressing and dudes got tired of talking about it so they decided to focus more on the success of it.
