1)That lil beat switch at the end of Lift Off is sooooo gooood *Drake voice* them drums/congos >>>>>>>

2)I was iffy on Niggas in Paris...but that is now the muthafukin anthem

2 months later...its still a very good album, and its funny cuz on 1st listen i could only focus on how Kanye was out-rappin Jay

But Jay's spit game wasnt as bad as i originally thought

People always jump to diss Jay without even comprehending the lyrics... Niggas still skimming through it smh

16 Plat albums...............

7 of them are Multi-Platinum. Even Eminem ain't catching Jay with most Platinum albums in Hip Hop History. I can see Jay dropping albums for many years to come it's amazing that outside of "Unplugged" and his "Greatest Hits" LP's, everything went Platinum. Soundtracks, EP's, Callbo projects and LP's, all Platinum.

Jay and Ye for that matter attracts haters. The album has tremendous replay value, they made a rap album that I can see myself listening to longer than this year. Unlike "Carter 4" which came and went, "WTT" they actually tried to make some Hip Hop that can live on and not the microwave fast food hip hop that has been running the radio. Take a club record like "Niggas in Paris", the way the beat switches on some epic type movie shit is amazing. People were upset cause Jay and Ye dropped a quality album with little to no promotion, and now they are selling out a tour all around the country. LOL @ people hating on it's sales when it's now the highest selling rap callabo album ever.

Jay Z gets his 16th Platinum LP and KanYe get's his 5th as they are handed plaque's backstage at the WTT concert. "WTT" is now one of the highest grossing collabo albums in rap history:

*Typo, WTT is is KanYe's 6th Platinum LP since his debut 7 years ago in 2004. If he kepts up this pace, he could threaten Jay and Em for the most platinum albums for a rap artist but I don't think Ye will be releasing that many LP's.

Just came back from the tour at the Bank Atlantic Center in Fort Lauderdale, the arena was so fuckin loud and their performance seemed to feed off it and visa versa. I was in to the performance and then Kanye switches to the center platform ( a couple rows away from where I was at) but he comes with a small entourage included in that mix Kevin Durant and LeBron James they were getting hyped up too. Amazing concert to say the least.

That Niggas in Paris goes so damn hard when they perform it..

yeah this album wasnt no instant smash-hit but i still listen to it on the regular wich shows that its a good album that grows on people.

i cant say that i really play red album, c4 or the j.cole album, only some tracks off them.

having a platinum plaque handed while you backstage at a once in a lifetime tour setup > selling a milli 1st week

damn they need to bring that show to europe too.

WEEK 13: JAY Z & KANYE WEST ROC-A-FELLA/ROC NATION 21,215 -33%

"Watch the Throne" is proving it's replay value on the charts, it is now grossing more a week than "Carter 4" and very soon "Take Care" which is already under 90k in it's 3rd week. What I don't think people get is Jay and Ye made an album that you will go back to, you will find songs you slept on before but appreciate now. For me it was "No Church in the Wild", I liked it but I wasn't feeling it like that, now I love this record, mad deep what they talking about. Also they will win 1 Grammy for "Otis" for sure, it's almost a lock, the grammy's won't resist a chance to give Otis Redding a grammy. I gave it 4 MICS when it dropped but before it's all said and done it very well may be 4.5 MIC album.
