What's so aspirational about listening to niggas brag about what THEY have and what THEY like to buy with their abundance of money? When they talk about the pressures they faced, the hustle that got them there, the people they had to leave behind in order to progress....THOSE are the types of themes the average nigga can find a common ground with. But all this "black cars, Black cards, trips to Paris" shit is the equivalent of a nigga watchin Scrooge Mcduck swim around in gold coins. What are you really gaining and how to you find a personal connection with the END RESULT of flashiness and excess that you haven't and probably never will experience? We all know Kanye and Jay are at the high end of the spectrum when it comes to their financials. We can understand that from the forbes list and various media outlets that talk about these guys sales and business ventures as well as commercial success. This album didn't suddenly turn light bulbs on over niggas heads. Let's stop making these dumb ass, broad conclusions on to why people won't like the album. It's a decent album overall but I never thought a Jay and Kanye album would feel so Soul-less.
