Oh, I'm sorry.

I didn't know the U.S. Air Force wasn't part of the U.S. military and that Air Force pilots aren't considered soldiers in the U.S. military.

Shit looks pretty connected to the U.S. Military to me. Ground troop calls in for air-strike, pilot delivers air-strike to ground troop coordinates, pilot tries not get shot down so he doesn't become a P.O.W.
