Finn was obviously a Jedi from how he heald the lightsaber and the girl is Han's/Leia's daughter seeing as how she travels similar to how Han traveled as a ship for hire.Luke is the one touching R2D2.All of that is clear.

Kinda weird considering that Luke has a son named Ben Skywalker in the comics and on Han has a twin son and daughter Jacen and Jaina. That means this story goes way left from the comics.

They did say they may take some of the stuff from the expanded universe though. I'm hoping they do take stuff from before the Republic fell, Darth Bane specifically since he was has an appearance in The Clone Wars tv show.

I'm being cautiously optimistic about the film and the decent parts of the old EU. I doubt all the stuff before the movies will be in it, but I really would like them to go deeper into the Sith past.

At the 1:30 mark when Rey is crying, it's post fight between Finn and Kylo Ren, obviously they become close or friends in this movie... I'm thinking Finn might get the business in the end and she's over him crying because he's beat or severely hurt.

The background seems like a snowy dark forest they were getting ready to fight in.

Based on this facial expression Finn's confidence seems to change since turning on his lightsaber.
