I wasn't bothered by the travon martin thing that much because by then I understood the contents of the intent as far as mook wanting to take advantage of being the black guy part and making solomon into an infamous dispised white figure for the judges. I think it coulda actually been pulled off alittle better if he was gonna do that but it was ok.The battle was already over and slippin into character at that point was a decent change of pace. What? Y'all wanted to here more crown references about being the king and best of this smack battle shit? I sure didn't, I was good by then.

Bottom line...(and 8m not a mook fan by any stretch) solomon got murdered bias crowd or not in a way that I never thought he could get murdered. That was an embarassing fall from grace for him. I felt bad for him. I'm thinking damn, this guy use to be sick as fuck,...what happen to him these last few years since I seen him?

Mook consistently pull wack skits that drag on and are very subpar lyrically and from a diss perspective...not to mention a live battle where he SHOULD all biases set aside lose the crowd

The Letter F shit he did against Jones was wack

The Trayvon shit was unnecessary, cheap and not good

Jones had it right when he said he gets carried away with his imagination.

Mook disgraces battle rap when he does these puppet shows in the middle of rounds. By now we've accepted that these arent "off the dome"/written but Mooks popularity helped condition us. Coming off the top is unrealistic if u want to win and usually the one losing complains about writtens. But Mook takes it overboard and makes it not even about bars or delivery and about can u put on the best side show

Add that to the whole "bring every nigga you've known since 3rd grade" thing (not sayin Mook started this) & Mook is representative of a lot of the things wrong with battle rap. Battling an NY nigga in New York is absolutely pointless, Solomons "from" NY but c'mon...i dont think solomon won or even put up a good fight but still, i cant give mook any credit for this horseshit *will ferrell voice*

That's why Mook is the Goat in terms of Battle Rap. Its not just about lyrics anymore if it was they couldn't pack venues at $85 - $150 per ticket. People pay to see a show and that's what these battlers have to put on. And the Vets aren't punchline and gun bar driven that's what separates them from the newbies.

Lux is the GOAT in terms of battle rap, and that's not debatable.

I judge them like I judge Jay Z and Nas. Mook is Hov and Lux is Nas.

Mook is the one with the crown in terms of Success and Name recognition. Nas is the Goat Lyrically no arguing that.

That is exactly what I've been saying also. Solomon is usually pretty good at flipping people trying to use his race against him and he also does a good job of finding things to diss his opponent. Mook pretty much went the 8mile route and said all the things Solomon could use against him early and even switched his style from his usual gun talk to beat him.

I think Mook is overrated like many who posted in here but he destroyed Solomon and used a lot of facts on the guy to do so

The greatest battle rapper ever is probably conceited (if he was normal height)...

Real talk, the only way to even KEEP IT CLOSE is getting on his height... And I understand that's part of it, so no excuses...

But bar for bar... Wit.. Punchlines... metaphors.... This nigga come swinging EVERY LINE... it's like he don't let up...

He don't do a bunch of schemes and all that bullshit.. He come swinging... He's the best lyrically but he's so short it's easy to kill him.

First Round: Calico 1.16 Lux 1.0 ... All the points lux scored he lost because he choked.. He lucky I didn't put him at like .9 (negatives... I start my scoring at 1.0)...

Second Round: Calico 1.22 Lux 1.25 ...... Lux got this round barely

Third Round: Calico 1.12 .... Lux 1.1....

That 3rd round is so gassed up... But fact: Calico rapped for 3 minutes... Lux rapped for almost 8 minutes!!! How the fuck wasn't this nigga time up?? And even with the extra minutes, I stil didn't score his points higher than calico's!!! (I add on points for punches or hot shit... the hotter it is, the more points I add).... He had a whole extra 5 minutes, but still didn't score more.. shame.

And I already said Lux is Lyrically the best but I have to commend Mook for who he is. And honestly other than Millz nobody truely SPANKED him. Lux won but didn't body him. And Mook has battled all top teir ppl beside young Hot.
