I was just gonna say this Hov don't really tweet so it obviously made an impact.

Calicoe was droppin a lot of heat as well , and a lot of outside folks making it seem like he got Zipped , i had Lux Winning but a lot of his bars were gassed up (Not the last round) ...last round he came with grown man bars..

but that "Ya'll the reason why Labels think battle rappers can't make songs" , i know it was simple but that shit was a hard hitter in my opinion .... Calicoe did his thing and i dont think he getting enough props for his performance ..just sems like a lot of folks shit'n on em cuz they wanna feed into the "You gon' get this work" hype

Both came with it in my opinion and it was a lot closer than most folks leading on

The battle was weak, but Iron Solomon usually does poorly on URL. URL is more street than GT or other battle leagues.

Calicoe actually did great BUT his angle was all wrong. If he woulda expanded on how the Vets gave Battle Rappers a stigma about being wack Artist then he coulda won. But all that Gun Talk was tired. Also understand ur advantages ppl route for the under dog but he wanted to act like he wasn't..... Dumb Move. Can't play Solitaire with a nigga who is play Chess

Calico would have bodied Solomon and gave Mook a real battle. He just wasnt up to the Lux standard.

I wish I could have the hour of my life back that it took to view the video. On one hand, it was good to see Mook's return to the arena and Iron Solomon is normally a solid mix of freestyle and punchline but for 2 guys who were supposed to battle 5-6 years ago, Solomon didn't do his homework for this battle. Mook was a bit more creative and added a good mix of personals to the battle but he didn't embarrass him but he won every round.

the issue with this battle and the current url battle is niggas too caught up in drama on some female middle school shit. personal jabs are always and will always be apart of hip hop rap battles. But now instead of having eitherous comebacks and disses its less about the punchline and more about having words for everyone they hate. So instead of a rapper x vs rapper y battle both rappers x and y spend half their battle dissing other niggas from prevous battles.

Calicoe's bars would've won him 9 out of 10 battles. He has the lines to win and impressed the crowd. Problem was Lux pulled out one of the top 2 or 3 most memorable last rounds in SMACK/URL history.

Ima watching this shit later but I just wanted to add that Iron is actually alright but URL and hood niggas be super biased so even if he spit some hot shit they would never give him credit. Niggas say Mook won before the battle even happened...and yes Mook lost to Jones, Lux & Millz. Arty is debatable.
