You gotta be stuck if you really would rather hear a battle than hear a dope album, dope song battling is like after the punchlines done ok you move on but a dope song, dope album, dope single is timeless you can keep playin. Just my persepective

Ur comparing shit for no reason, thats like sayin ¨id rather watch football than basketball¨, shits not neccessary. Most importanly, battle rapping is rap at in its purest form. Its performance, freestyle, creativity, wordplay, erething all combined in one. While somebody is in ur face sayin da worst shit u can say to somebody and the crowd laughin at u, u have to keep ur composure, remember ur rhymes, think of rebuttles to what he´s sayin, all while dis is goin on. Until ur in that ring, u have no idea what its like. Da funny thing is tho, ur favorite rappers have all been in battles. From Jay, Biggie, Meek Mill,Dmx, Em, etc. Thats da number one way to keep ur sword sharp...

Da shit is, when da greats was puttin in work, internet wasnt around, so them dmx vs jay battles, etc we cant see. But atleast theres footage of da young cats puttin in work...

Jay Z kinda uses always has really used that that battle rap approach when making his songs/albums cos he freestyles his verses straight on the spot on the booth for every album he done.

I got Lux 2-1. Cal soul left his body by the end of the second round. Now I wanna see how did the Charlie Clipse vs Serious Jones battle went down.

2-1 Lux

First off I wasn't feeling how Smack got all hyped when Lux started his round. I understand the nigga is making his return and all that but you're running the show Smack you can't be partial my nigga. The crowd pissed me off but that's how my NY niggas are if they're not feeling ya shit they cuttin' you off regardless of where you're from. So don't give me that 'they didn't show Cal love cuz he wasn't from NY shit because on that same stage last year the tables were turned Math got boo'd in his own city and those same New Yorkers showed Cal love. And as far as the instagram pic on the screen that goes back to what I said about niggas being partial, they ain't give Cal that advantage, I thought that shit was lame keep it about the bars. Now to the rhymes Cal came out strong I think he won round 1, Lux put me to sleep with that flow at first and the crowd was overrating some of those lines, not to mention he choked. 2nd round and after Lux dusted my nigga Cal with straight real talk, he didn't have to fabricate punchlines or spit that gun talk and still got his point across. Good ass battle tho this was a good way to start off this Summer Madness 2 drop.

I guess Lux won, but Cal was set up to lose from the jump. Battle was on some WWF shit, they brought out Cal like a regular nigga, but they brought this nigga Lux out like he was the Undertaker. Lux's third was some all-time shit, but that 2nd was filler like a muffucka.

i mean i kept hearing about this shit ... and how lux supposedly killed dude ... and real spill after them first two verses i was like aww these niggas goin off the home court advantage ... cos cal came out with some shit .... then lux stumbled and i was like yoo wtf is this shit ... but cal shoulda finished him off in that second verse because when lux got his shit back together ..... pfffft ...cookies bruh ...cookies ...

...that 3rd verse from lux is what you call a systematic breakdown ...prolly had that nigga cal clutchin a tear drenched childhood picture of his daddy in the dressingroom.. smack need to start a AP Course on battle raps and use that shit as a case study .. i mean .. yeah

Lux vs. Dizaster would be dope...

I was thinking that and Dizaster made it seem like he has a URL battle lined-up and this makes the most sense. Hollow Da Don just got out and people have been wanting to see Hollow vs. Dizaster too and Hollow vs. Lux

You are dumb as shit. Sitting there mumbling the verses over and over to yourself is not going into the booth and freestyling straight on the spot. You have made meaningless posts for no reason. The site was better without you.
