You know, I was gonna say this yesterday but didnt.

I feel the same way about babbitt. I had no problem with him letting it fly that kings game. I just laughed since he took like 4 in 2 mins and he missed all of them. But hes our best shooter and him shooting less than 4 threes a game is no bueno.

If Babbitt shoots 10 threes and hits 4 of them(40% which he is clearly capable of) thats 12 points

Has interest in the Heat diminished with Dwyane Wade gone? There are conflicting results so far. The first four games produced local ratings of 4.8, 3.4, 3.1 and 3.6, with three of those games competing with World Series games. That averages to a 3.7 TV rating, compared with 4.5 for all of last season. That means 3.7 percent of all Miami-Ft. Lauderdale homes are watching Heat games on TV so far, compared with 4.5 last season. One ratings point in our market equals more than 16,000 households. – via Miami Herald

I know you supposed to give him heavy mins for development but you might have to start shaving off his mins by 3-4 mins until he plays better

Heat forward Justise Winslow insists his confidence isn’t shaken by his shooting struggles to start his second NBA season.

But at some point, Winslow and the Heat assuredly want to start seeing results after he worked tirelessly all summer on his shooting, the biggest shortcoming for a player who does most everything else well.

“All the shots are on line,” Winslow said after opening 0 for 7 and closing 5 for 18 in Friday’s loss at Toronto. “I’m shooting them with confidence and think every shot is going. I threw up some crazy ones in the paint, thought I got fouled.”

Despite working with Heat shooting coach Rob Fodor to refine his shooting mechanics, and despite launching hundreds and hundreds of shots from all over the court during summer workouts, Winslow has made just 26 of 77 shots from the field through five games, 33.8 percent.

He’s even worse on three-pointers; 3 for 18 (16.7 percent).

Many of his misses have come from close range.

Winslow is shooting 16 for 40 within nine feet of the basket, 4 for 13 from 15 to 19 feet and 6 for 18 from 20 to 24 feet.

“In my head, I think the last shot [I took] went in, so that’s just how I’m going out there and playing, playing with a bunch of confidence,” he said.

“It looks bad after the game, looking at 5 for 18. But they’re all shots I know I can make, and all on line, on target. I don’t want to be too hard on myself.”

Lol @ shots are on line and thinks every shot is going in. Bruh, I can tell when he's shot a brick lol. He isn't even being efficient from close to the basket.

Yeah the close to the basket misses kill me more than anything. I saw him miss a wide open 10 fter off the dribble and I got pissed.

He also seems to try to avoid contact and seen him either stop short and pull up for the miss or go up kinda weak

We hired a shooting coach this year for the first time ever also...

Winslow ALSO worked with harden in the off-season but you wouldn't know it because he never attacks the rim

oh yeah,

Winslow's last three games:

2/13

5/18

3/15

Or 10-46 FG the last three games
