Reports: Heat won't clear Chris Bosh to return after failed physical

Chris Bosh has failed his physical, according to multiple reports, meaning the Miami Heat will not clear him for training camp next week and casting serious doubt on his playing future.

A person with knowledge of the situation spoke on condition of anonymity to The Associated Press because neither Bosh nor the team has announced the result. The Miami Herald reported earlier Friday that the Heat will not clear Bosh to return.

It's a major setback for the 11-time All-Star forward, who wants to resume playing even though each of his last two seasons was cut short by blood clots.

Bosh was examined by multiple doctors in recent days in an attempt to be cleared for camp, which beings next week

I wish Bosh the best. I hope he can get healthy as he possibly can. He was a part of the most enjoyable 4 years as a Miami sports fan in my life.

I like reed (Finally have a backup C whos young) and I do have confidence in Derrick williams after watching him play for the knicks last year.Babbitt can be serviceable shooter in limited mins but I dont have high hopes.

And everybody else writing Waiters off but I gotta support him he aint do THAT in cleveland before Bron came through as the 2nd fiddle

Everybody else whos new can kick rocks

Barry Jackson: As we’ve reported, Heat’s McRoberts limited to start camp because of foot injury. Said last 2 years have “sucked” because of injuries. – via Twitter flasportsbuzz

Ira Winderman: Josh McRoberts, on his rocky tenure with the Heat, “I’m a big white guy who gets hurt all the time. I wouldn’t like me either.”
