Ya'll silly ass niggas are still focus on the radio shit, how did that work out for Wacka's album sales, how did that work out for Gucci Mane, the New Boyz,etc and all these niggas who had hit singles. You know who didn't have hit records, Cudi, Lupe,etc and you know who's album still sold.

Ya'll are so damn caught up in the perception of what makes something successful, when a fanbase is more important than all those things (radio or tv) ya'll harp on.

Would you rather be a artist like Lupe or be someone like a Wacka? Wacka is only gonna be hot for so long, trust me, like Lil Jon, Nelly, Ying Yang,etc were only hot for so long.

Lupe had no hit singles, sold around 500 K, performed infront of MTV Movie Awards (millions) and consistently tours across the globe. I'll take a Lupe career over a microwave Wacka career any damn day, ole flavor of the week nigga.

day and nite crossed him over which in turn helped him gain more fans. i didn't know about kudi until the day n nite remix with jim jones. however the success of day n nite did not hurt cudi at all, it was an asset. and not to mention kudi has been on tour and built up a fanbase over the years that are obviously very loyal.
