Having a fan base of 90% women definitely beats having a fan base of niggas. Niggas don't buy albums, women do, women fantasize that the songs are about them. Clearly it's more profitable....

In mainstream you could be the hottest nigga out simply by apperences. Who got the most money, who sell more, who fckin who or rockin this and that. Its all a popularity contest. Real hip hop fans judge things like wordplay, flow, your improvements or innovations.

The reality of it is yes drake is the hottest nigga out by mainstream standards

But his music is shallow and predictable

that Calabasas song throwing shots at diddy

All have the same formula

Him rappin abt his past/braggin bout his success/nobody seeing him etc etc....all over a smooth ass sample beat

When i can start telling your repackaging and shippin me the same story over and over we have a problem

Like i said before ya he's using grime, spanish, jamaican shit and dats cool ur doing something different but also going in a direction that just isnt for us hip hop wise and hurtin the culture more than helping it

Rap isn't every other genre its one that has a certain set of rules, a demanding fan base and a always changing landscape, an competitive atmosphere we judge u off what u say and how u say it.

An right now drake aint good for much but party music and love pop songs he lookin real one dimensional out here

Too Much sounds NOTHING like hold on we're going home or Light Up. Get It Together sounds NOTHING like any of Drake's traditional records. Keep It In The Family doesn't sound like any of his traditional records. 4pm in Calabasas sounds NOTHING like Weston Road Flows nor is it about the same thing.

I'm just pointing out how the 3 leaders of the new school finna all drop albums the same way and Drake might actually come in last as far as sells first week go which goes to show that his album sells are in deed boosted by his single streams not the fact that ppl are really copping his albums like that.....

It's still good to go gold first weeks but this is showing me that all 3 on the same ground Drake gonna do the worse becuz ppl stream his singles as much as his actual album and if he doesn't have that there goes have his sales right there
