I'm starting to feel like Drake is spoon fed to us. Nigga starring to make mad generic shit and it's still going big.

This just sound like what views could of been and views could of been this ion really see the big difference.

He's going from being very good in my eyes to just good

It's only a few tracks on here that stand out from a long 22 track album

Nigga definitely leaning to more pop rap than anything

I think he's just trying to strike while the iron his hot. I think it was a smart move to drop an album while on tour overseas. Now he got ppl all over bumping more life

I want to thank Drake for allowing me to realize I'd rather listen to Drake with a British accent than to ever listen to a real British rapper again.

I understand stand dat it's just I want more from Drake. While niggas like kendrick, Cole and even big sean evolve and grow as artist

It's looking like Drake has reached his ceiling or just become settled in his lan

His good for partying, talk abt the past or ups and downs of his life, and bragging/talkin bout bitches we know nothing abt. An borrowing someone else's style, or lane

Like god damn Drake a few years back u had me thinking u was that nigga and in the top 3 to lead the new generation of rappers along with Cole and kendrick

But now he's just seeming stagnant

I agree with most of wat u said . I felt he got comfortable and dont want to change up. He has done better songs in the past

Cuz women are paying for it and buying the albums

Ya but that doesnt stop Cole, Kendrick or Sean from atleast keeping it hip hop

This nigga drake done turned into a r&b rapper/singer with some party tracks sprinkled in

Niggas cant tell me Do Not Disturb and Western Road Flows aint the same kind of track.

"Him rappin abt his past/giving out quick s/o to people from his past by saying they name on the track along with this false bravado talk abt how far he done came and how he da best over smooth sample track"

Then he never really says things in a manly way like blem for example the hooks basically saying he gotta b under the influence of drugs to speak his mind. Like nigga why can't u just speak ya mind? Wheres his aggression? All thst song does is remind me he got drunk in the club and threw a bottle at chris brown then ran to the bathroom smh.

Just like practice. He made back that ass up so soft. When juvie made it, shit was aggressive he was commanding that woman shake they ass.

Drake aint commanding shit he basically askin women nicely to shake they ass....sometimes its not what u say but how u say it and drake seems to be talking moist 80 percent of the time now.

Im a drake fan folks know i caped for him before but i cant keep accepting this moist fake deep/bravado shit anymore im disgusted by his recent efforts and actions

I understand that but im not just talkin aggression more so content wise he leaves alot on the table. Even when he speaks on his life his very vague. To me it feels like he has the potential but refuses to step out his comfort zone. Seems his trying harder to just camouflage his comfort zone by using other peoples flows, using fake accents and jamaican or popish type beats.

An the fact of the matter is Drake is that guy in rap right now popularity wise he is the top dog regardless of the question marks by his name. So with that being said with him having the power to touch so many people that don't necessarily like rap but like him. Shouldnt he push the limits or raise the bar in rap. I commend him for showing love to British rappers. An as rap fans we're always gonna want more from artist. But its a difference between wanting more and knowing when a artist is limiting himself on purpose. He is becoming the very thing he once rapped abt never being and that's settling/getting comfortable and becoming stagnate

actually hes on point with that shit, thats exactly what i was thinkin when i heard it. Your soft ass admits you go through womens purses when they in the bathroom, but you can only say what you feel when you drunk? Thats not man shit, thats some bitch shit right there. Real men say what they feel regardless of the circumstances or what someone thinks about it. Or the song about his ex that got married without telling him...... they moved on nigga you need to do the same! Sorry to let yall know but your fav rapper insecure as fuck. We gonna have a generation of some soft ass 20 years old drunk textin they exs from high school at night reminiscin about the good old days when yall used to ride your bikes to tasty treat together smh.

I think people are rightly criticizing that five albums in he shows little to no personal growth

I've said this tons of times. Folks don't wanna hear it. They will be quick to point out other artists like Spitta for example, who cranks out the same shit all the time. The difference with Drake in comparison to the field is that he's supposedly "the best." Drake has been making the same album for years now. You know what to expect & for An artist of his caliber we have a right to want more. He's not creative or innovative.

Here we go again with J. Cole being the point of reference for a comparison. Lets just get this outta the way, Cole can rap about anything. Drake cannot and has shown he can't. That literally debunks the claims he's shown no growth.
