Meh, if we keep our pick, it has to be top 3. Looks like the top prospects this season are PG or SF. We have Russell PG and Ingram SF (who might become a PF 5 years from now).

Oh well, if we keep the pick, we might as well pick the best available. Long way to go though, will check back in a few months. Thanks for your help

Makes sense. I would draft a wing and use Clarkson as a sixth man. Keep an eye on Josh Jackson and Jayson Tatum.

Sixers got 3 chances at 1 maybe 2 top 5 picks.

Their pick

Ability to swap picks with the kings

And the Lakers pick not in the top 3

We got to be looking at a wing, Jackson or Tatum, and a pg (deep pg draft).

that would be crazy. Y'all need a pg that can shoot and play off the ball. I see Simmons being the primary ball handler nh. Of the top PGs the ones that make sense are Fultz Foxx and the German kid. Dennis Smith might be too good to pass on tho. He's the best player in this draft imo.

Season tips off tonight with an exhibition game against Angelo State but we'll be a bit short handed....Mareik Isom is out with a an am6kle infection while Snoop and Tevin Mack are serving a suspension for violating team rules

Jarrett Allen should be good to go though

Its way too early for a mock draft lol.

Never too early lol. Especially as bad as we look out the gate. My only hope is that if we do suck this year that we suck enough to finally land a franchise player. Theirs maybe 6 guys who fit that bill. Elfrid is playing a lot better this year but I wouldn't pass on Smith Jr. or Fultz. Giles is a beast but the Injury concerns scare me. Josh Jackson and Jason Tatum are studs and allow us to ultimalty move AG back to the 4.

Hezonjas looking more and more like a bust.

We need to add talent on the wing preferably someone who can be a number one scoring option. Maybe that comes through a trade or FA but the way I see it no star is really available. Gordon Hayward is the most likely FA to test the market and while he can certainly ball he hasn't even sniffed an all star game.

Our likely options via trade are Milsap/Gay/Hayward/Rubio. Two of those players will be FAs this summer. None really move the needle. We would be a middle of the pack team for the next 5-7 years. This draft might be our last real shot at landing a star.

What's really good with Hezonja? Ill be honest I havent caught any Magic games yet but Is he really struggling that bad?

Yea he's been that bad. He's playing with zero confidence.. Looks lost on defense.. turning the ball over and worst of all his shot isn't falling. I think Skiles broke him. This is not the cocky

no fucks givin sharp shooter we thought we were getting last year. His strengths have become weaknesses and his weaknesses are still the same. We might need to send him down to the D league for a little while.

I'll wait and let some of these niggas start cooking first, potential is the reason niggas have been getting burnt up lately in the draft outside of the lottery lol. But I really hope Hezonja gets it cracking, though, because he's still young and could be a monster. But yeah, let's see how the college niggas move for a minute.

On a day in which Kentucky and Duke each reeled in five-star prospects, it was Alabama and the SEC as a whole that stole recruiting headlines.

In basketball.

Six top-40 prospects in the ESPN 100 announced their commitments Thursday, with five choosing SEC schools. Duke received a pledge from No. 1 shooting guard Gary Trent Jr., while John Calipari and Kentucky landed five-star frontcourt prospects Nick Richards and P.J. Washington. Alabama, which hasn't had a five-star recruit sign since 2008, picked up the five-star backcourt tandem of Collin Sexton and John Petty. And Georgia was able to keep home top-40, in-state prospect Rayshaun Hammonds.
