damn i cant believe yall keep all those cd cases!!!! i keep all the covers in my books so ill get those together and post them up tomorrow or something

i wont bother posting the vinyls cause i only have like 20 hip hop vinyls and a few of those are singles... the other couple hundred or so are jazz, classic rock and soul/R&b

thanks! I actually have a rip of the mp3. I don't know if it's just the quality of the recording, the vinyl or the quality of the rip (I've obviously never heard it first-hand), but they all sound pretty terrible. So, any time I find someone who has it, I have to ask if they have another rip.

Whenever I get a new CD I put the booklet and CD in a double-sided vinyl sleeve, then put the sleeve on my CD shelf (in alphabetical order). I put the CD tray liner or digipack in a box (also in alphabetical order). If it's a new CD, I save the case to use later (to save even more space, we store all our DVDs in the CD jewel cases and put labels on the spine). Used/old/cracked CD cases go in a box that I take to a place that recycles/re-uses CD and DVD cases.

It's not too bad. If I have a lot of CDs by groups/artists that start with one letter I end up thumbing through them for a second or two, but it's never any trouble. Goes alon with having a collection I guess.

Tru that. Creative way to keep your shit from not gettin messed up tho. I just keep mine in the cases, I used to have them in a cd book till I ran outta pages and kept hearing horror stories of cd books getting stolen and luckily enough I made it without it happening to me lol.

I used to do CD books too. Had one of those 400 page books almost filled.Talk about difficult searching for what you want to hear! I couldn't handle that kind of disorganization. Now I just "check out" a few CDs at a time from my own personal library and take them with me in the car. haha

happend to my brother twice back in the mid 90s

& both incidents were folks breakin into his car stealin the cd player/cd books (w/ over 200 cds)
