I hate playing Georgia Tech and their archaic 1920s offense

If I was an AD i would probably never schedule GT for an out of conference game.

The only way I would even entertain GT OOC would be if it was the opening game and had several weeks to prep for them.

That Paul Johnson coaching tree has Navy and Army running it to perfection. More FCS teams are jumping back on the triple option train with Tall receivers on the outside. I hate it but you cant deny that he has that offense down pack. He is also doing it with 2 and 3 star players that usually would be at some FCS school.

Bama players crying about getting calls against them.

Them niggas are damn cry babies.

The last play is hilarious to me if the DB doesn't look at the ref for help and actually plays defense they would have won

Old school football... remember the Nebraska days... I like it cuz its variety. Everything don't have to be spread

Michigan going to Italy

Michigan announced Monday it will fly its football team to Rome this coming April (after finals, of course), where the players will conduct three of their 15 spring practices at the facilities of AS Roma, including an open scrimmage.

In case you forgot about last March’s incredibly vapid spring break debacle, Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh took his team down to Bradenton, Fla., to work out at the IMG Academy, issuing an open invitation to Florida high school coaches in the process. At the time, the move was legal by the NCAA rulebook and theoretically helped Michigan earn the ear of coveted Florida recruits while also closing the gap between its expense account and annual revenue stream; naturally, the big wigs in Ann Arbor happily signed off.

In response, ACC and SEC coaches and ADs lost their collective shit, spouting off about saving their players’ spring break, high school athlete and coaching access rules, and some other pointless dribble that avoided the truth, which was that they would very much like for powerhouses from other conferences to stay far away from their favorite recruiting spot. The blatant faux-complaints were made the whiners easy targets for a Twitter assassin like Harbaugh.

FSU's 2017 schedule was released today:

9/2 - Alabama (Atlanta, GA)

9/9 - Louisiana-Monroe

9/16 - Miami

9/23 - North Carolina State

9/30 - at Wake Forest

10/14 - at Duke

10/21 - Louisville

10/27 - at Boston College

11/4 - Syracuse

11/11 - at Clemson

11/18 - Delaware State

11/25 - at Florida

Gators seem to be struggling recruiting-wise. Beat them out for Herbert. Hope we beat em out for Edwards and Henderson and steal Shawn Davis from em.

Not worried. Signing Day everything will be settled. Florida's class is underrated. Herbert and Blades both probably wanted real oppprtunities to start and they wouldn't have had that at Florida. They return 14 of 15 linemen from last year, for example.

Man if LSU can get Phillips, Gay, Wilson and Mathis plus get Devonta Smith in the fold it would be hugely successful.

Getting Chaisson and/or Bryant would be extra.

Ga Tech once again living in the mid level player realm. Hoping for a diamond in the rough. Swilling is sticking to his commitment.

Phillips gon flip to LSU

I like Racey better than Smith

Racey does look good with his ability to break tackles and run after the catch. I saw some plays where it looked like the whole defense was in front of him and some how he is running for a TD.

But Devonta Smith

He likes Miami also

Been saying it for a while that this McElwain cat is not going to cut it. He's the only coach ever at UF to never sign a top 5 class. He can't even sign a top 10 class.

Giving this clown more time is just setting a once proud program back even further. That's unacceptable after going thru 4 years of Muschamp.

Miami just strong armed Hebert (wouldn't even tell him the new OL coach was) and Henderson from him like Saban did with Leatherwood. Then he lost the CB Blades as well.

Recruiting is the bloodline to every program and If you can't recruit at Florida, you have to suck.

How does an AD follow up the Muschamp debacle with McElwain bum ass.
