John Doe 150 said in a 2014 deposition that he informed Paterno the day after a 1976 incident that Sandusky stuck his finger in the then-14-year-old boy's rectum while he showered. The man said in 2014 that other boys in a shower heard him yell that Sandusky had just touched him sexually.

He said he told several adults about it, then sought out Paterno.

"Is it accurate that Coach Paterno quickly said to you, 'I don't want to hear about any of that kind of stuff, I have a football season to worry about?'" a lawyer for Penn State's insurance carrier asked the man. "Specifically, yes," the man replied.

"I was shocked, disappointed, offended, I was insulted," John Doe 150 testified. "I said, is that all you're going to do? You're not going to do anything else?"

He said Paterno then "just walked away."

wow they need to knock over that fucking statue...fucking sick...so Joe Pa and the entire staff enabled this dude for 20 plus years

Should have never be on New Year's Eve in the first place

The College Football Playoff will consider moving future semifinals off New Year's Eve if it can help increase viewership.

Executive director Bill Hancock told reporters at Southeastern Conference Media Days the conference commissioners who make up the playoff management committee are open to changing future schedules, starting in 2019 when the semifinals are scheduled for New Year's Eve.

The first College Football Playoff after the 2014 season drew record television ratings for ESPN when the semifinals were played on New Year's Day. The first game, the Rose Bowl, kicked off around 5:30 p.m. ET. TV ratings dropped 36 percent for the semifinals played after last season when the games kicked off at similar times on New Year's Eve.

Hancock says alternatives to New Year's Eve are beginning to be explored.

Sources: ACC Network to launch by August 2019

The long-awaited ACC Network will launch by August 2019, according to league sources.

The Atlantic Coast Conference and ESPN have agreed to a 20-year deal and rights extension through the 2035-36 academic year, sources said.

The ACC also extended its conference grant of rights deal nine years through 2035-36, a source said.

The conference's grant of rights makes it untenable financially for a school to leave, guaranteeing in the 20 years of the deal that a school's media rights, including revenue, for all home games would remain with the ACC regardless of the school's affiliation.

The ACC's new grant of rights also automatically extends Notre Dame's contract with the conference as a member in all sports but football through 2035-36, a source said. If the Irish forgo football independence in the next 20 years, they are contracted to join the ACC.

While the linear network will launch by 2019, the ACC Network's digital channel will start this fall, sources said.

Conference commissioner John Swofford would provide any update Thursday on the ACC Network at the ACC's Football Kickoff in Charlotte, North Carolina, a conference spokesperson said.

ESPN spokesman Josh Krulewitz declined comment.

The addition of the ACC Network will increase the league's overall value, putting it in line with the top Power 5 conferences.

"When the ACC Network revenues are included, the ACC will be very competitive with the upper tier [Big Ten and SEC] of the Power 5 leagues," a source said.

Showtime wanted FSU last year as well and FSU almost did it, source said. This year team much more mature.
