4.5 points ain't that much of a point spread, though. That's a field goal, shit was predicted to go either way like it did. I wouldn't even consider it a big upset unless it was over 10 points at least.

In what universe is a field goal worth 4.5 points??? Yes it was an upset considering if you bet the money line you would have had to bet $210 to win $100 if Notre Dame would've won while a $100 wager on Texas would've gotten you a $175 payout. I can tell you don't gamble but I hope that helps.

I don't bet on college football until the third week of the season usually, at that point you at least have some sort of read on the teams. I was just stating that this technically was an upset, South Alabama over Mississippi State level no but still an upset.

LOL you sound like me a few yrs back...there's a trick to it though...for instance I am a Florida State fan I'm picking them to win regardless...but there's too many ppl saying they like us tonight so I know better than to bet them at 6pts.
