Last night was Franks best overall game so far. His passing is so underrated. I said it like 2-3 games into the season that he has some qualities that you cant teach. He has a nose for the ball and somehow knows where the ball is gonna be, whether on defense to get a steal or to getting rebounds, he has a feathery soft shot, and he passes in a way where he leads his teammates with the pass.
He still has a lot of work to do but he has the potential to be a very good pg in the league and has the potential to be a legit franchise pg.
And after close to 30 games, hes shown a lot of improvement with his confidence going up and hes starting to not just catch up with the pace of the game but hes actually also been setting the pace of the game at times.
And I'll even give the Knicks organization and Hornacek credit for how they are approaching Franks development. They are always pushing him and putting expectations on him every game but not pushing him to the point of hurting his confidence and that shows with his confidence going up with every game hes played so far.

word is garpax is hoping to not showcase lavine too much so nobody throws a max contract at him when they let the market dictate his value this offseason (which i think happens anyway) but the goal for him this year in the eyes of the bulls FO is to show that he can stay healthy (but not too much) because the bulls plan on matching any contract he receives in RFA anyway so theyre trying to get him for as cheap as they can
which is why they keep pushing him back
if i was stashing him in fantasy i would be trying to move him

people just overstated his ability to make magic out of nothing

overall towns played some good defense yesterday — i just really wish someone would tell him to not jump on defense for an entire game and see what happens — literally dont jump — youre 7 foot tall with really long arms — keep your hands in the air — stay vertical — keep your feet and contest with length because there are very few situations where a jump is absolutely required and those situations are outnumbered by situations where its better to just hold your position
i would personally still take towns over any other big in the game though because of all the amazing things about towns the fact that hes never missed a game in like 200 NBA starts is right up there
