I was giving the Spurs the benefit of the doubt over that Pau contract, but this here would indefensible depending on how much they paying him.

It might be a team friendly deal so im gonna wait and see but this here wouldnt be the path I would go if I was the Spurs.

LA is my guy but having a good portion of their cap wrapped up in him, Mills, Gasol and Danny Green (if he opts next summer) isn't a good look

Spurs have a transcendent player in his prime years and instead of putting younger and more athletic talent around to compliment him they're committing to old players

Who knows one of these young prospects becomes a really good player or they have something planned for the future but as of right now the Spurs are trending downward imo
