I wouldnt be mad at all. With the Knicks current roster, as long as they are healthy, I dont see them getting a top 7 pick and wont be suprised if they dont have a top 10 pick either. So with that, I feel like it'll be better in the long run for the youngins to play meaningful basketball. Meaningful basketball doesnt mean just getting into the playoffs, but just being in the playoff picture late in the season and playing with the pressure of every game counting. Having a somewhat successful season will have the players trust hornacek more too.

Now if you give me the option of playoffs or top 5 pick, id take the top 5 pick.
