Why don't the Lakers pick up Lamar Odom? They could slide him to the three, have Boozer and Hill switch between the four and five, Lin at one and Nick Young at the two. (until Kobe comes back.)

It doesn't seem like it would hurt the Lakers to pick up a 6-10 forward that could handle the ball, shoot and spread the floor. Add him to the roster at a pay cut, (if he's willing to take one) and let him get a good amount of minutes and see how he does. He could low-key be a double-double addition. What would it hurt?
