on the low okafor being in foul trouble helped out dukes defense

lol true .... he did do a good job on the last few positions tho .. he stayed in front of Frank and forced a bad shot ... nobody is going to confuse that kid for Mutombo

i was surprised a 4th year senior national payer of the year was better than the freshman okafor

i mean -- how the hell could that happen

thats the one thing that shouldnt be lost in this in regards to okafor -- hes still a kid

thats what alot of these niggas aint understanding ... go look at Marc Gasol @19 go look at Noah @19 go look at Deandre Jordan @19 hell Andre Drummund was supposed to be an underachieving lazy bum when he was at UConn ...you can poke holes in all of their games at that age .. big men take the longest to develop it's laughable hearing niggas making definitive negative statements like this on a teenager that has clearly shown as much talent and skill as OK4 has in his short college career ... i dont get it ... but we'll see

Ain't none of them Is talked about being the next great big man.

Noah at 19 >

DJ is just a defensive player

Drummond at 19 >

Look at Tim Duncan stats as a true freshman.

Hindsight a motherfucka

I used to think Bo Ryan was a real nigga. I remember a few years ago he had a player transfer and he wouldn't let him out of his commitment or he put restrictions on where he could go or some shit

word his skill set on the offensive end in proportion to other players his age is unreal and defensively if you really think about it is largely about communication/effort/scheme for the large part -- unless youre short or slow that cant be helped but okafor isnt lacking any of the physical tools to be at least an average defender outside of getting in better shape

im pretty sure a player like frank was able to weed out his deficiencies with repetitions over the course of his 4 years no way was he the same player his freshman year as he is now or person for that matter -- and again thats what really gets lost in this how a prospects progression is due to physical/mental maturation as a person just as much as their basketball experience

but this the world we live in now

WISC blew this game...that CAC on duke put the team on hsi back

there was a point in the game when both winslow and okafor were out and wisconsin went up 8 and he scored 5 and then caused a turnover

shit could have really gotten away from duke if it wasnt for him

back to not caring about college basketball again for 49 1/2 weeks

Too easy to forget these dude's age man. He's 19! *jay z voice*

Also Okafor being 'weak' will rear its head in a playoff series down the line and he dont grab a board or dont show up when needed or some shyt...at the end of a season he avg 22 and 10

It will not hinder him from having huge hands, soft feet, post game, and size nh Its nitpicking and it sounds silly. ESPECIALLY in this day n age when half these nggas are 'weak'

Its like saying Shaq has bad conditioning. o-kaaaay, he's still 7ft, 350, maybe top 10 ever. Or that Pao is soft. Ok, he's still too long and skilled to stop down low nh what are we arguing here

My points still stand about this shit:

1) Sixers NEED D'Angelo Russell, no exceptions (unless the Bricks or Wolves snatch him up first)

2) Okafur is slightly overrated, but that can change within two years of pro ball.

3) Kamisky goin get ATE UP in the NBA unless he bulks up. That Spencer Hawes shit ain't goin work against D. Jordan, T. Chandler, the Brow, Boogie, Dwight, Whiteside, and the Lopez brothers.

^^^I agree that Russell is the guy Philly needs. All the guys they've stockpiled are bigs, and they r desperately gon need some scoring and shooting.

Mudiay isnt a shooter i dont think.

Imagine Philly in a AI-type offense where they just let Russell go to work and Noel, Embid clean up.

OK4 is not as good of an athelete as you'd think. He's not tall enough (6'11) to pull that, hell Hibbert is like 7'3 and barely gets away with that. He finished weak at the rim and has limited shooting range.

If the Knicks tanked for that, they lauced.

Imo , irregardless of need, my rankings:

1) Mudiay

2) Okafor

3) Russell

4) Winslow

5) Towns

6) Stanley Johnson

7) Trey Lyles
