grant hill did the kobe surgery
Grant Hill was troubled by issues with his right knee all of last season. He underwent an arthroscopic procedure on the joint in September and followed that up with another scope later during the condensed campaign. During the offseason, he went to Germany to have a blood-spinning treatment, according to Paul Coro of the Arizona Republic.
"That was the icing on the cake," Hill said. "I'll be prepared and ready to go. I feel as good as I've felt in a while."
It's the same procedure that the likes of Kobe Bryant, Tiger Woods and Alex Rodriguez have had on their knees, and their results have been encouraging. Hill will turn 40 prior to the start of the NBA season, so he's battling Father Time. Despite battling health issues during the middle of his career, Hill missed just three games over the three seasons leading up to the 2011-12 run. So, hopefully, this most recent procedure will allow him to keep rolling with his new team, the Los Angeles Clippers.
