Officer said "he had no choice" but to shoot 17 year old. This video shows otherwise

We already know how this is going to go. The kid wasn't listening and that's all some people need to absolve the cop of any responsibility. He's going to get paid leave and put right back on the job.

Idk this a tough call

if he would've kept goin in reverse, but a cop in front of your car w/ his gun drawn tellin you to stop.. & you go forward

even tho it looked like he tried to (& did) avoid him

I'd agree if the cop was honest, admitted that the kid veered off, and said the tension of the situation led him to fire. However, him claiming the kid was trying to run him over and there was no choice but to fire is just a flat out lie. That means he has no real remorse or care for what he did.

Easy call. The cop wasn't in danger and he lied. That was murder. He wanted to shoot, he didn't have to

if this goes the court, that's the way everyone will see it.. the fact is, he drove his direction, that's all they need, him veering is nothing because "the cop didn't know that and in fearing for his life, the officer had to make a split-second decision."

That cop for sure knew, but he won't be honest.. he's protecting himself and his career now

they could state the officer put himself in front of the car multiple times, and the driver did avoid him every time, and with having a loaded gun pointed at you w an officer yelling made him fear for his life, and not thinking clearly, he ran.. his "flight" part took over..

but it's cop w years of awards and honors vs a black teen who they will slander

but this is bad, it's all bad.. all of it..but it's clear he should've never shot, period..

Watch the video again. The cop didn't actually start shooting until the kid passed him by. He knew he wasn't in any danger. I'm not saying you're wrong about how it will go, but he knew he wasn't in trouble.

man lemme first say the kid didnt deserve to die at all but the cop sat there and said do not make me shoot you he literally warned him he would murder him for nothing then the lil dude proceeds to try to drive away anyway. These pigs are just looking for any excuse to shoot us so why gie him one. with that being said he should at least be fired and blackballed from law enforcement if he doesnt do any jailtime for this

Great if he not permanently physically fucked up.

His side of the story will be ignored though. He still needs to say it though and loudly as possible.

What was the reason the cops were called? Anybody

yeah, I acknowledge he knew he wasn't in danger.. he knew better but he's a trigger happy cop.. have you see their training? they're instructed to empty their clips in an instant

smh, there's no justification for this

A noise complaint, think about that

Gunplay over a noise complaint.. this is why theyre called Race Soilders

Soooooo let's say dude was really driving towards him, his instinct was to shoot and not to simply get the fuck out the way? How afraid are you if you're choosing to stay in the path of the direction of the car?

At that distance and speed, all he literally had to do was take two steps to the right if he really was driving towards him.

I didn't read anything, jus saw the vid

yet & still, if (& that's a big IF) this goes to trail, at least one cracker on the jury will see the vid & vote not guilty (& all it takes is 1)

now, I not sayin the cop was in the right, but I've been on this planet bout 30yrs.. we kno most likely how this will play out
