Maybe yall dont understand how much they drill into us how that ComSec is of great importance.

How during AIT you have the option of failing out and being reclassed as a ammunition, or petroleum specialist.... Or quartermaster.

But no... This asshole took an oath, signed every document IN TRIPLICATE stating that he/she knew better. Sat up there went thru a damn security clearance interview and processing.

How much yall think it cost the government to train manning? Basic, AIT and whatever else he did once he got to his first duty station?

His AIT was 16 weeks too.

Think Comsec wasnt covered in them 16?

Dumbass was told not to do something, given multiple classes on it.

was told why.

was told what would happen and how severe the consequences would be if he did it.

Was given an opt out to pursue other endeavors while serving out contract.

decided to stick with it.

Did what he was told not to do any damn way.

Turns himself into a blonde haired blue eyed white woman to escape accountability.......

is successful.

Is that how you see it?

May be you should see it as organisations are acting unlawfully and putting themselves above the law.

For example when John Kiriakou exposed the US for using torture and setting up black sites in countries it was so corrupt that the government of these countrieswasn't aware of it.

We should all be aware of that barbaric behavior

Just remember whistle blowers are exposing corrupt systems.

He wanted to be a snowflake.

Simple as that.

American interest are not what makes us feel good and righteous morally, that is some ol bullshit that they teach in grade school.

Just so happens going scorched earth on a fuck up is in our best interest.

That is a hard lesson to learn, some people have the stomach for it some dont.

This piece of shit obviously didnt and put those that did in danger. Fuck him.

Just to confirm your ok America abusing human rights?

How can the same people who go after Assange for exposing 100% facts...then turn around and praise Manning for get his sentence commuted?

So spreading secrets is cool is the person goes trannie, but Assange who told you the DNC was fucking with Bernie when you had time to nominate him is a bad guy? Tell you the DNC was faking Bernie supporter riots, and getting debate questions, and just fixing the whole primary is a mortal sin, but giving national secrets is cool? What reality we living these days.

Won't even get into Snowden because I remember most of you supporting the government against him when that thing blew. When liberals say jump a lot of you are eager as fuck to say how high.

Atleast the Manning did time I think 7 years is a fair amount of time given the crime Snowden and assange ran like some little hoes and haven't served an hour for what they did.

Snowden would have been killed in a flash if he hadn't ran. Whistleblowers don't do well at all. Assange didn't ran, he had world governments put false charges on him, and again, He would likely be killed.

People watch too many spy movies there were too many eyes on them for to just end up dead and by that logic the feds would've helped Manning off itself when it tried.

Snowden bailed before what he did was known. We would have never heard of this if he hadn't lef the country, dude would have just either been dumped somewhere or killed. Assange isn't even American and you can see the shit they want to do to him. Manning is "ok" for the exact reason you mention, too many eyes on the case.

Don't get it twisted. When you look at the JFK, RFK, MLK cases, the CIA is all over things. Drugs in our communites....CIA put them there. Setting up Saddamm and Osama in the 80's....CIA. WMD lie......CIA. There's a common theme if you look at things from a historical point of view.

Those are 2 separate issues.

Manning knew what the consequences of his actions would be........yet, still chose to do what he did.

The President basically rewarded him for bad behavior, but........people who have faced similar (or worse) consequences for doing a lot less weren't given a pardon for their transgressions.

Sends a horrible message.

Why does everything have to be a race thing here?

Because it can't be ignored.

Well, it can be.......but that doesn't make it any less of a factor.

In other words, ignoring the problem doesn't make it go away.

How has this become a race issue?

My response to your question about race wasn't about this specific situation.

Basically, your question seemed to imply that you think everything on the IC is about race..........and I responded based on the context of that question.

Is that what i said?

Keep up, man.

Just cause you dont like the sting of the truth does not mean i am in support of it.

Remove your emotional reaction to what i said, and see if it checks out.

Hard men and women are tasked to do things you and i would find .... Repulsive, in the name of american interest.

Your saying a lot about nothing. Human Rights is there to be respected I'm sure when joining the army torture was not on the list of things that will be requested. Also let's not forget America invade countries because their poor human rights record.

So exposing things will put them back in line simple as that.

Why can't there be a grown up conversation on here without people talking about feelings?

I understand your point also there a culture issue it seems as well been from the UK me personally race is different to an extent.

However in this situation I personally believe thus isn't a race issue but a win for all people

I'm still mad about that, though it's not completely Obama's fault. There are a myriad of obstacles to closing down the prison, including resistance from the Republicans and just the logistics of what to do with the prisoners, etc. However, at the same time, he did have a lot of time to figure it out, he did make that particular promise, and he did flipflop on the issue, going as far as to sign a bill into law that actually reinforced and expanded Gitmo.

Accidental fires breakout at blacksites all the time.

...What?

Did you respond to the wrong person or is this supposed to be some cryptic, sage-like witticism?
