I believe it's on the east side maybe even south east heavily latino population

but it's some brothas and sistas at the show even let many on stage Street Military aint trippin.

You gotta remember Houston is similar to San Antonio it's not as African american populated as Atlanta.

At the same time Street Military has a huge latino fan base they love underground local independent artist.

You can see in this video it's some African Americans in the building.

Man it's even some white folks up in that piece mayne.

Lol South Park shawty got a bigger buzz then street military stop playing yourselves

South Park Shawty

I barely heard of this but they in South Park live cuz Snoop Dog came through

South Park is a heavily populated African American nieghborhood.

Don't forget 1 of the members of Street Military who is on lock is from South Park his name Pharoah.

Not only that to me it sound like Snoop a lil scared in his voice in that clip.

Street Military goes to that hood all the time to hook up with K-Rino of South Park Coalition and the rest of S.P.C.

Street Military are members of South Park Coalition !!!!!

It's alot of jealousy but Street Military the real deal !!!

You can hear Snoop Dogg doing a drop shouting out K.B. Da Kidnappa & Street Military!!!

Snoop Dogg shout-out drop for Street Military

So how you get all this luv from major stars if you just an average rap group?

Street Military are well known in the industry and by the streets in Texas !!!

I live in and I remember Street Military being somewhat popular in the late 90s. But that was a long time ago. Even the people that I know that used to listen to them were not aware that they are still making music.

The old stuff is good but it doesn't really stand the test of time. It sounds very dated. You listen to it to remind you of that era. And anything new doesn't sound that good because they haven't shown in real growth in all these years

There's a lot of groups from Boston like that. Mr Lif, Insight, 7L and Esoteric, Akrobatik. They all had a buzz circa 2000-2001 but they didn't capitalize off of it. They never made hit records (read: commercial club banger) and in hindsight their music sounded very amateurish compared to what Jay, Nas and everybody else was doing. If you go on Youtube and look at their videos they're like a poor mans Blackstar.

I was in Houston on business last year. Went to bars out there every night and mingled with the locals especially the hipsanics and black folk. Never heard one street military fam song while i was there in any bar or in any whip that drove by. No local said shit about street military.

Sure Id like to see some commercial success on that mainstream level but it aint all about that.

Street Military active in the fact they do solos they do features and may drop another album before Jay Electronica etc.

The have shown alot of growth in their solo projects. The fact of the matter is people are to square to keep up with them. They wan't everything on a silver platter and sometimes you gotta keep an eye out for your favorite artist.

Ofcourse shit from 93 is not gonna sound like 2017.

How can they really drop another Street Military album when Pharoah is on lock?

They do the solo game and it's dope.

There was a video with a due all the way in El Paso jammin K.B. in his ride when I find it I'll post it.

Dude admitted they were popular in late 90's, you see a huge warehouse full of fans.

Look K.B. drew a crowd by himself ... in a parking lot they have fans baby ....
