Now considering his election as President of the United States.. Black Americans just have to resign to the fate of their country been run by White supremacist ideology for centuries.. neither candidates were gonna do anything beneficial to uplift the Black race IMO

The whites have elected a black president with a muslim name less than 100 years after segregation.

Canadian here and if I was American I would have voted for Trump as well. Ultimately the choices on the table were more racism or WWIII.

I think a lot of people were uninformed about their candidates and platforms. Americans have falling in love with the two party system to lead their country. The staunch way of voting blue or red is also problematic for citizens.

The Democratics and Republicans shouldn't be treated like sports teams that you ride with through the good times and the bad. The policies that they are going to enact should be the main objective when concerning your vote.

How many people knew about Hilary's No Flight Zone? What about her record with Libya? Aside from all of the pandering to blacks, and gays she can't overcome what's been done. She is an evil woman.

No one is to blame but Hilary. Sanders' voters were misplaced and they ultimately won the election for Trump. Why Hilary didn't name him as her VP is flabbergasting. She would have won for sure.

The race for president was a travesty and I hope Americans learn to drop loyalty to one party over the other and focus on policies.

Black people have been waiting for a long time for a black president and they finally got one. But all of the stuff he pulled- I'm not even talking about black issues but world issues- people should be jaded. The black vote doesn't even have to be earned at this point.

Now, I'm not thrilled on all of the policies that are going to drop on you guys, like his climate change or Keystone pipeline stance or the way police will have his support but this is going to be a new era in the States. One with fear, hope and change all for the best I hope.

The things I read about the whole mindset of Americans truly amazes me.

It wasn't long ago that I saw African Americans shitting on Barack Obama which was astounding to me considering we will never see a black Prime Minister in the UK in my lifetime.

In terms of Trump, he was clever in using rhetoric that would resonate with a majority white folk. I was not at all surprised he was elected.

He has a major issue now, he has to backtrack on much of what he promised now as it was truly some fuck shit.

I find it hilarious that even after "grab em by the pussy" educated white women still put the man in office.

Says a lot about your country.

Yall deserve him. If you mad, as black peoples you should have used your black vote against him.

On the other hand, it might be a good thing since this man has no political background at all. His business mind could help and reignite the economy, if so, black people need to take full advantage.

I'm scared for my black peoples tho, I feel Trump being president gives arrogant white racists the license to attack our people much more openly.

Trump is encouraging and inciting hate and xenophobia. Just last week I had some bum telling me its trump's america now.
