See even though this is from a fictional short story I think the bold pretty much sums up what I think. As I said before a lot of what was said by DoU and such, quoting scriptures and all that, did seem like blind following and fantasy. I do believe there is a higher power at work that we as humans cannot comprehend but I also am a believer of logic and the now. That is probably why I believe the church is complete bullshit, no man regardless of mortal titles can truly understand whatever higher power there is above us. Atheist,Christians, Catholics, Muslims; I don't view them as anywhere closer to a god or closer to understanding our purpose as a species than the next. Not saying I do either, I am still too young to have true wisdom.
I will admit that whatever the religion is, if it helps a man do good in his life it is useful. Helping or striving to be better than yourself is always more important than the gods or science or whatever. Let me do what I can in this life and I will worried bout my afterlife when I am dead.

You are so desperate for a shred of factual information about Christianity that you latch on to this widely disputed arch story. These Biblical stories are beyond far fetched; 900 yr old human beings, talking serpents, a great flood that decimated the earth destroying everything. Man would not have rebounded from such a cataclysmic event. It's not feasible, sorry. We are becoming such an advanced society that this occultism will eventually lose it's stronghold on the masses.

It's pretty explcit and doesn't sugar coat shit.
Plus, Jesus isn't God. Jesus is simply stating, multiple times, that he is equal to God.
He was a very delusional man.

@edwardnigma can you please cite a Bible verse that Jesus said "do not worship me"? Or even rebukes anyone for worshipping Him?
Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.
Luk 4:8
And Jesus answered and said unto him, Get thee behind me, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.
Jhn 17:3
And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.
Isa 44:6
Thus saith the LORD the King of Israel, and his redeemer the LORD of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God.
Phl 2:5
Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
Phl 2:6
Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: (If Jesus was God then there wouldn't be a need to have to mention being equal to anyone)
Phl 2:7
But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
Phl 2:8
And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
Phl 2:9
Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:
Phl 2:10
That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;
Phl 2:11
And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. If Jesus was God all the glory would be unto himself.
