the light of the day is governed by the sun which means that the major light we see during the day is the sun at night the major light we see in the sky is the moon. not that the moon is creating but at night you look up and the major light you see is coming from the moon. I think you are the one thinking too much at night you look up you see the light reflecting off the moon That it is. So the bible is correct when it say there is a light in the sky at night but it says there is a great light so that cannot be the stars it can only be the light that is reflected off the moon.
