Dude never had to make pop hits, hop on new trends, or get the producer of the moment to stay relevant
He aint that relevant in the grand scheme of hip hop period outside of his loyal fanbase and its not for his lack of trying for example working with Lil Jon and hoping on the Crunk and Snap Movement or jumping on the hyphy bandwagon.

Dont have any opinion on E40 negative or positive ..

east coast nigga stay hatin cause e 40 pulled biggie skirt down and exposed him

East Coast not feeling E 40 got nothing to do with what happen to biggie considering majority of people didnt know about the incident until the mid 2000 when Enuff said it in a Vibe interview..

I'm from Houston and down here people put E-40 in his own category. Nobody outside of the West Coast is going to put this man on a pedestal. Get over it. Not saying he's wack, it's just that nobody outside of his area can relate to him like his own people can and therefore wouldn't respect all the stuff he's rapping about enough to jam him like that. In reality he's sorta like the Wu-Tang of the West. The only reason Wu gets more national love is because they are from NY and until recent times most people used NY hip-hop as a standard in the game.

Damn, feel like Rodney King up in this bitch lol. Wu Tang was great, but after awhile dumb niggas couldnt understand them so they hate on em instead. E40 was great, his slang was too deep dumb niggas couldn't understand they hate on him. How ironic.....All these niggas hating on the east coast, yeah east coast was on some arrogant shit like ya pops be, cant even lie. But thats because places like atlanta had corny dudes like mc shy d and shit back then, how you gonna take that serious? niggas prolly out here mad at they dad trying to find hm, sue for support and shit smh. jus enjoy being on top, you cant change history.....oh, east coasters who was actually around during biggie reign on top knew nothing about that e 40 gangsta shit, thats some post y2k shit get the history correct; certain niggas aint like forty cause his voice was weird to them, but that aint everybody. and redman wack? maybe now but back in the day? i need some of what u smokin cause its potent.....
