What are yall talking about? Dude aint even on no label and havent been for like 3 years. The nigga left the label and is hustling smart cuz his mixtapes is basically his albums and hes selling it out his store along with merchandizing and all, plus he does shows & small tours so hes getting it.
But of course, as much as niggas deny it, everybody judge you off MAINSTREAM POPULARITY
He left Epic 3 years ago. Where the fuck you niggas been? I think part of it was due to him falling out with Big U, who was the link between him and Steve Lobel, who was the link to the labels.
This song is a whole subliminal about Big U. Smart ass way of doing it too.

Word I get that Nipsey indie and can do shows and tour, but why not even drop an EP, or a short full set for sale indie like Kendrick did...

What's the difference between what Nipsey is doing? Is it the name, album or mixtape that bothers you? Cuz i don't get it. It's not him rapping over already used beats, this is like a street tape basically. So what's the issue here? How can he run out of material when what he's doing is like an album? He has his producers, writes lyrics and all, package it and drops it, what's the issue? It's the same shit he's been doing for years.
