Nintendo: Third Party Support a (Secondary) Priority

I decided I will buy a Wii U this holiday. A big reason is the first party games will be coming out regularly by then and I'm interested in pretty much all of them. Truth be told it's all anybody buys Nintendo consoles for. Everybody knows this including Nintendo. Conveniently since I don't have a PS3/360 I will probably get Arkham Origins and Watch Dogs on there as well. But 3rd party exclusives? a console needs a decent install base for that and when it comes to Nintendo it's usually when they start rolling out their IP's. Though apparently ZombiU did decent enough to get the sequel goin in prototype mode.

Nintendo need to stop acting like they care about third parties cause they obviously don't. If somebody has been saying the same thing about you for almost 20 years, that shit is most likely true. The fact is, Nintendo doesn't need third parties. They've been a Nintendo without them for longer than they were a Nintendo with them and have been fine. Nintendo consoles are first party boxes in their eyes and if third parties want to develop for it too, fine...but they don't really give a shit one way or the other.
