yeah they're full of shit most of the time, but couldn't agree more with this review, my bro already finished and returned the game, it's not NG any more...

but if you are new to the series it might be fun.

NG was arguably the best in the franchise interchangeable with devil may cry. I know you not going to say GOW, if you are, then slap yourself

Because it gets repetitive after a while. It's not like he is in a free environment able to engage in other shit the style is dated and the is a button masher built for 2k. Its hard to keep almost the same mold in a button masher genre for too long.

Solid Rising is going to be all that this game wishes. NG had a good f**king run all said.

I usually throw an eyebrow up at IGN's reviews, but the game is indeed ass......it's merely an aight game on it's own merits....but it's nothing like the previous Ninja Gaidens.....It's like somebody at Tecmo played Ninja Blade and thought it would be a good idea to rip off a game that was a ripoff of Ninja Gaiden in the first place....and in it's defense, Ninja Blade actually did the QTE heavy gameplay justice....this doesn't. Ninja Gaiden 3 is the Devil May Cry 2 of the series.....Meaning if it was called something else it probably would have been better accepted.
