No I wasn't there, but anyone who knows the industry well can tell you. First of all, Trina admits that herself..so like I said, I personally don't really have that much of a problem with it. It's said that other people write her lyrics at times, but I don't know that for sure.

Anyways, yeah Biggie basically taught Kim how to rap. Her whole style and music was a formula created by Biggie...kind of like how Prince created the girl group Vanity 6. Can you find a Lil Kim demo? Any footage of her rapping before Biggie? Battling? Freestyling? Any proof that Lil' Kim was an aspiring rapper prior to rapper? She probably rapped songs on the radio to her friends and was good at it, but that's it. She was never pursuing a rap career before Biggie, and her image & lyrics were all from other people the first 10 years of her career.
