Nicki tryna be on some woke shit now that Cardi taking her lane while seeming more authentic

Cardi B is for from authentic

Why do you say that?

She does seem kinda manufactured as a musical artist. Like execs took what they fell worked about Minaj at first and Cardi's VH-1 personality, combined them & threw it at a wall and waited to see what sticks.

It's pretty ironic to see Ms. "I don't need no frauds" ride heavily for Post Malone though. The most blatant fraud the game has seen in quite some time. The things people feel they must do to remain relevant smh.

you're not wrong

but Slaine is criminally underrated and Termanology TECHNICALLY dodges the "white rapper" label, right?

Have you heard that album?

It's actually dope.

One of my favs of the year

Straight up. Not one wack track. Refreshing to listen to hip hop made for the over 30 crowd after being exposed to all this wack ass club shit against my will (work related; wasn't gonna fuck up my moneybag) for over a year.

As soon as I heard this

Yall hate on white rappers but, buy and support albums from rappers like Future and Migos? Yeah that makes sense.

That's the entire community about everything, from music to politics. Two steps forward, two steps back. With regards to hip hop, our double standards halt progress and will eventually destroy the art if we don't crack down on the garbage that has been coming out and getting progressively worse for the last ten years.

Every white artist, talented or not, is a "culture vulture" and is shunned by the community. Outside of Em, they all fade within 2 or 3 years MAX. Yet we still talk like white artists are a threat, when in reality, white rappers are a revolving door in the mainstream.

Meanwhile, every wack ass black artist that gets radio play will be supported to hell and back, because we "love to see young blacks get money," regardless of how poorly they portray the culture and how trash their music is.

TLDR version: Race comes first. Quality and authenticity come second and third in the community.
