"I honestly believe, once I started doing America’s Got Talent, they took my real n—r card.

Did he ever have that shit tho?

It depends on yo definition of a real nigga.

He working taken care of his family and following his dreams that's pretty real to me

At first I was wondering why they'd even trip over that joke. I mean Tracy Morgan was on a NBC show and that dude says Nigga all the damn time in his stand-up. Then I thought about it. Their reaction is probably less about him saying the N word as some people are suggesting, and more about the implication that NBC looks at its black employees in that way. That's likely why they made the comment about him hurting their brand.

From that standpoint, them making a show of coming down on him for such commentary is understandable. That said, respect to him for refusing to be bullied.

lol @ saying he's a voice for his people and he refuses to silenced. I think he's taking himself and his jokes a little too seriously.

Thate exactly what i thought, they didnt wanna be looked at in a negative way regarding how they treat black employees

He's an idiot.

There was no reason for him to even bring up America's Got Talent.

If he hadn't mentioned the show in his standup, they would've never threatened to fire him.
