I dont like it. Feels like he wants to be Bun B without the delivery flow or conviction. It's almost like he's just reciting a book he's reading. His concept was straight, but the delivery made it unlistenable. If hevwants it bad enough he just gotta keeo working on it.

It was cool. Beat was straight. I could bump it. Only thing was his flow at the beginning. When he sped it up at the end of the song, that's the flow he should have used for the whole song. I'ma have to hear more but he sounds laid back, I didn't hear that hunger until his flow sped up.

A slow beginning and a off flow can push people away fast. The beat had potential but never took off. And your guy is not bad, but needs to sharpen his flow.

I like the beat and I like his flow the whole way through the song

The only thing is that with that first flow he was using, over this beat I think he should have been focusing more punchline bars that hit harder

For example I think this is 2Chainz-esque, and he uses a similar flow and he focuses on the punchlines which always add pop to his verses

For example listen to 2Chainz's verse on this. It's @1:58

He's using a similar flow part of the way through while focusing on punchlines

In my opinion

He was spitting but the flow in which he was doing so dont really go with the beat atleast not until the chorus. It won't bad though.. I just think it would probably sound better on a more upbeat instrumental.

I thought in the beginning there was an accent, almost New Zealander/Kiwi sounding?

Am I waaay wrong with that??

I agree with what @silverfoxx said

He's from Pittsburgh Pennsylvania..

Very texas, he needs way more emotion and feeling though, I cant really believe him though. He needs more diaphragm less throat. More energy. I didn't like this, not speaking in terms of taste but in terms of quality of work/ caliber of work. The beat kinda goes off in certain area. His second verse was way more controlled in the last 8 bars. The hook did not deliver as planned. The mix needed plenty of work, message me for tips or mixing and mastering.

3/10 Let him know to keep dropping though, this is just a building block.
