Pretty solid. He's bringing it back to that real shit.

... White boys and people not from NY:

It's "Sun" not "son". To call another man your son is a backhanded compliment or even a diss. Don't use slang if you don't know what it means or how to use it.

Reminds me of that Ghostface shark biters joint (lol):

They be they be coming with your words and shit

They hear you say one word then here they come with the word

Trying to flip it and bounce it and shit on some bullshit

Yeah, yeah

Not sounding right first of all and shit

But yeah, to quote Method Man:

I call my brother Sun 'cause he shine like one

Nosign. Its 5% terminology. The Black man is symbolic to the Sun, the Black Woman is symbolic to the Earth. The Black Child is symbolic to the stars.

When you call somebody "Sun" it's a compliment. You're saying they shine like the Sun.

Calling somebody "Son" is a diss. Its like your saying you're their father.

Sun=/=Son

I Already know that... I already said it means the same shit..the only difference is how u want to spell it..but it meaning is the same yo...

Over time niggas just started spelling it son instead of sun..but it doesn't means it takes away from its meaning...I'll doubt anybody will stop u in the streets of NY...and ask u how u spell it..is it s.u.n or s.o.n...cmon now

Nosign. If you call somebody "son/sun" people are gonna say "what do you mean by that". I've seen it happen. If you're calling somebody "son" and you don't know why people will take it as a diss and the situation can get very hostile. I know I wouldn't like it if somebody called me, "son" like they were my father.

On the other hand, if you call somebody "Sun" and they ask, 'what do you mean by that' if you say, "I'm calling you "Sun" because of the way you shine" then there's no problem.
