but wouldnt agree he is better suited for longevity than Big Sean?

Big Sean will always only be as good as his production. "Return of Simba" is a subpar beat, but J. Cole made it sound a lot better than it is.

And? And J.Cole will stay hot? Nobody really knows.

When do you ever see J Cole with Jay-z, or mentioning him? Exactly, he is a self contained artist, he doesn't rely on Jay to get him hot.

Isn't what all these threads about, how Jay-z isn't seen with him. J Cole writes and produces his own shit, he doesn't need a Kanye beat or feature to get him hot. It's like a BoB, they are true artist.

How? Y'all forgetting that Big Sean will eventually mature he's only 23 years old. Tracks like So Much More and Memories showed me he will be here for a while.

He is gonna get better as a producer fucking with NO ID and these other established niggas. At one point Kanye now wasn't the Kanye back then, it's room for growth.

Yea but BOB aint producing his own singles tho and is the definition of what most niggas complain about when they talk selling out for dollars..

Memories pt 1 is the best thing he ever did in my opinion anyway

How many times has Kanye been with Big Sean over the past 2 years. Big Sean built his buzz by himself over the past 2 years. Def Jam was close to dropping Big Sean. FF3 saved him imo.

Memories is actually a good song, but like Wayne, Sean's trash FAR outweighs his gems.

For some reason I feel like Jay Z has a blank moment whenever people ask him about J. Cole. Then his assistant leans over and whispers in his ear and Jay goes "Oh, THAT J. Cole!"

That's just recently though. Kanye the one that invested in him. That's what he should be doing. FF3 built Big Sean fanbase.

I've said it before, i don't think dude want's to build his artist like he did Bleek, Beans, etc. I think he learned from Kanye, give the artist artist freedom and let them build their fanbase organically. It's only so much a cosign can do and you don't want your artist to be looked at as Jay-z or Kanye's "little man". Peer yes, little man naw.

But "Work Out" is aimed at women though.....

As wack as Big Sean is, you think bitches aren't gonna eat up "Dance (A$$)" and "Don't Tell me you Love me"?
