First season came out in September i think of last year. In an article i read it said we can expect part 2 sometime this summer. didnt say a date or month though.

The good news is that the extremely-funny series featuring Danny McBride and Walton Goggins will have a chance to wrap up the story before the end of 2017. However, the bad news is that the episodes won’t return to the air until fall.
In the new video below via the network, you can get further clarification on this very thing as the clip makes it abundantly clear that Vice Principals season 2 is not coming until fall. This is certainly a bummer to hear given that production’s been over on the show for a while already. Yet, it feels like this may be a move designed specifically for the purpose of boosting shows to support other words.
Take, for example, Insecure. The Issa Rae comedy aired last year in the fall, but it’s now moving to the summer in the spot occupied by Vice Principals. Part of the logic behind that could just be a desire for the network to give Insecure a ratings bump following Game of Thrones and Ballers, two of their most-successful series. Given that there are no plans for either Ballers or Insecure to end anytime soon, there is that incentive to help the two of them out in some way.
As for Vice Principals, there’s less of that incentive when you know that season 2 is the last one for the story. Therefore, airing it in the fall makes a little more sense. If you did love the first season of the show, odds are that you’ll be around and find a way to watch it once more.
