My N!gga D dropped 2 back to back Classics and disappeared off the face of the earth lol. He took a Maxwell, Sade type of hiatus for real but even longer than them. He had some legal and drug issues but he was making music that whole time. Can't wait to hear it though. I've been waiting for this album for over a decade. D'angleo is by far one of the last talented RnB singers of our generation period. Welcome Back Michael Eugene Archer.

Can't believe it's been 15 years since "Voodoo" and 20 years since "Bound Sugar". This is an album will go to the store and spend money on. "Black Messiah", love the title and I'm sure there's a lot of conscious themes and material. F*ck a download, this D'angleo, this history right here. His voice was magical. It was something speical that even my parents could listen to. He's a true artist. Even though we haven't heard much from him in the last 15 years. He's been doing a few collabo's here and there.
