I still bump Picture This and Headz Or Tailz all the time. I'd have to say Picture This is still their best work. Tracks like "Alpha & Omega", "Money Flowz", "Paper Chase", etc., are straight classics. That album bumps from beginning to end.

I knew about that group, but only Twista stood out to me, which is why he went off on his own.

Twista was never a member of Do Or Die (AK, Nard, Beelo), he's just on most of their hits. And here in the South, Do Or Die always got much play.

I'm glad that the "fast rapping" trend has kind of died out. I mean, I know some people still do it sometimes. But after Tonguetwista came out, and then Bone came out and blew up, you had acts like Do or Die and Crucial Conflict come out, and it just seemed like they were biting what was hot at the moment. As far as currently - I like how Tech does it. Oh, and....Crucial Conflict > Do or Die.

Crucial Conflict had some heat, but they weren't really fuckin with Do Or Die. Whenever they hooked up with Twista over some Legendary Traxter beats, it was a wrap. I thought they were gonna make a come back for a minute there when they left Rap-A-Lot and dropped that self-titled album. They even had Kanye doing some of the production, but it wasn't near as good as Picture This or Headz Or Tailz. Headz Or Tailz is one of Rap-A-Lot's best releases ever. I don't know what happenned after that. They lost me when they dropped Victory, complete with a Ja Rule feature (?). They had some tight tracks after that like "Diamond In the Back", "Do You", etc., but, in my opinion, they never had another solid album. I'm pretty sure one of them did get locked up for a bank robbery, can't remember who though. But when they stick to the formula: them 3, plus Twista, with Johnny P on the hook, over a Traxter beat, you can't go wrong. I've always been, and always will be, a loyal fan of Rap-A-Lot, but does anyone notice how many former RAL artists get involved in illegal activities due to lack of funds? One of the guys from 5th Ward Boyz got caught up in a bank robbery, same with one of the guys from Do Or Die, Willie D got caught in a mail-order scam, Big Mike's had his share of financial issues, etc. You'd think J. Prince would take better care of the guys who helped him build his empire. I know there's 2 sides to every story, but RAL seems to have a disproportionate number of broke former artists who have sold big numbers over the years.
