This may sound hella weird to y'all... but for some reason, a part of me thought season 4 was going to take place in Jamaica and cover the story of the Shower Posse. I sensed Mexico would be next before season 3 started but while watching it, I had some feeling that they may just go into another direction.

Nah they all got arrested (or died) in the mid 90's. They were extradited to the US in 2000's.

What I didn't get was why some of the other cartels were so upset about cali "retiring". They should've been the happiest ones there. They were going to get a bigger piece of a multi billion dollar empire.

They didn't know what the surrender entailed...info on deals they had with other cartels and access to the land they used to import/export would now be govt property.
